Permanent account and data deletion

Friendspace gives every member a permanent deletion control inside the iOS and Android apps. Deletion cannot be undone.

Delete your account in the app

Sign in to Friendspace.
Open You.
Select Settings & privacy.
Open Account & Security.
Choose Permanent deletion.
Enter your current password, type DELETE MY FRIENDSPACE exactly, and approve the final device confirmation.

Your account closes and you are signed out when the deletion request is accepted. Removal of stored media may continue afterward; no further action is needed.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@friendspace.io from the email address connected to your Friendspace account. Use the subject Friendspace account deletion request and include your Friendspace username. We may ask for limited additional information to verify that you own the account before completing the request.

What deletion removes

Permanent deletion removes the account and the data connected to it from active Friendspace systems, including:

Your personal profile, login credentials, settings, and active sessions.
Your posts, Blogs, EchoStories, comments, reactions, albums, photos, videos, audio, and other uploaded content.
Your messages, conversations, Circle and Inner Circle connections, invitations, and memberships.
Business, Creator, and linked Artist pages managed by the deleted personal account. Artist accounts with their own separate sign-in remain independent. Content or spaces with another authorized owner may remain under that owner.

Information that may be retained

Friendspace may retain limited security, abuse-report, moderation, transaction, copyright, and legal records when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or repeat abuse, protect users, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with law. Deleted information may also remain temporarily in encrypted backups until normal backup rotation completes, but it is not restored to an active account. Content that another person independently copied or reshared outside Friendspace is not controlled by this deletion process.
