Getting started
Create and verify your account
Choose a personal profile or Business Page, reserve your Friendspace URL, confirm that you are at least 18, accept the Terms and Privacy Policy, and verify the email link before signing in.
Set up your profile
After your first sign-in, choose why you joined, add a few interests and a broad location, review matched people, and optionally publish a short introduction. You can finish later or reopen the guide at any time.
Switch between profiles and Pages
Your member account is your main identity. Business, artist, and creator tools manage separate Pages and audiences. Use the workspace switcher to move between identities without mixing their posts, Circles, followers, or notifications.
Complete your profile
Add a recognizable photo, header, biography, broad location, interests, and privacy choices. These details improve suggestions without requiring you to make everything public. Your profile address uses your reserved username.
MEANINGFUL UPDATES
The Main Space
Use your Social Compass
Today is a finite catch-up. Earlier keeps recent updates available. Circle shows mutual connections and Inner Circle narrows that to your featured four, while Music highlights artist activity. Topics lets you decide whether business, news, music, and creator sources belong in your main view.
Understand the Friendspace Bulletin
The Bulletin rotates meaningful profile changes, blogs, albums, releases, and Page updates. It changes as qualifying activity arrives and groups additional items without placing them on top of one another.
Create and move through EchoStories
EchoStories are 24-hour moments from people and artists you can see. Open the header to begin with the first available story, use next and previous controls to move between them, and choose the mood response that best fits the moment.
Post, format, and attach media
The post editor supports paragraphs, bold, italic, underline, headings, links, photos, video, GIFs, polls, topics, and audience choices. You can attach up to ten images. Posted media also appears in your private Post Uploads library so you can manage it later.
React and join a conversation
Open React to see Friendspace reaction cards, including Laugh when something truly made you smile, then use Comment to join the thread. Replies support paragraphs, keyboard emoji, and GIFs. Artist-authored posts keep music-specific reactions such as Fire, Encore, and Vibe alongside Laugh; other posts use the standard set.
Use Friendspace on mobile
Use Home, Discover, Music, Alerts, and You in the bottom navigation. Swipe or use the arrow controls to browse multiple photos.
YOUR FRIENDSPACE
Your profile and social features
Find people with Circle Finder
Circle Finder offers recommended, mutual, nearby, and all-people views. Suggestions use shared interests, broad location, Communities, and mutual Circles. Friendspace does not invent random matches when there is not enough information.
Understand Circle and Inner Circle
Circle means a mutual connection: both sides chose it. Inner Circle is up to four Circle connections you feature and can share closer posts with. These are different from Following, which lets you keep up with a public Page without a mutual connection.
Customize your profile safely
Themes and background uploads control the overall appearance. Advanced Safe HTML lets you customize approved profile spaces with protected formatting and layout elements. Scripts, embedded programs, unsafe links, and page-breaking styles are removed.
Use your anthem and expressive spaces
Choose a track from Friendspace Music as your anthem and decide whether it appears or autoplays according to your settings. Your profile can also feature EchoStories, blogs, media albums, Safe HTML spaces, and a featured video.
Write and read blogs
Use Blog for longer writing. Open an entry for the focused reading view, reactions, and its conversation. Blog entries remain separate from ordinary profile posts while important new entries can still appear in The Main Space.
Edit posts, comments, and attached photos
Use the edit control on content you created from The Main Space or a supported profile wall. The editor preserves formatting. Posts with photos let you keep, remove, or add images before saving.
PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS
Friendspace Instant
Choose full or Classic Instant
Full Instant opens the complete conversation workspace. Turn on Classic Instant in Settings for a compact Friendspace app with your Circle List and individual chats. On desktop it stays inside Friendspace, can be moved or minimized, and does not require a separate browser popup.
Set availability and a status message
Choose Available, Away, Busy, or Invisible, then add a short status that tells your Circle what you are up to. Status and online indicators respect each member’s visibility settings and recent activity.
Start an instant conversation
Select someone directly from the Circle List to open a one-to-one chat. New Chat also supports a new conversation or group chat. Photo, camera, file, GIF, voice, smiley, and Nudge tools remain available where supported.
Control alerts and sound
Friendspace groups message notifications by conversation so every line does not create another notification card. Instant can play an incoming-message sound; use its sound control to turn that cue on or off for your device.
SEPARATE IDENTITIES
Business, creator, and artist Pages
Switch without mixing identities
The workspace switcher changes who you are using Friendspace as. Posts, Circles, followers, notifications, and Page actions stay attributed to the active identity. A personal connection does not automatically connect one of your Pages.
Understand Following, Circle, and Inner Circle
Following is one-way and keeps public Page updates in your feed. Circle is an accepted two-way relationship with the Page. Businesses stop there; artists and creators can feature up to four Circle connections as their public Inner Circle.
See and manage your people
Open People from a Page you manage to view followers, Circle relationships, requests, and controls. Suggestions may use public interests and broad service area, but Page owners decide who belongs in their Circle.
Publish and converse consistently
Page posts, updates, photos, wall notes, reactions, and replies use the shared Friendspace conversation layout. GIF replies and profile-photo viewing work across supported Pages; only artist reaction choices intentionally differ.
FRIENDSPACE MUSIC
Artists and bands
Create and review your Artist Page
Open Artist Studio and enter your public artist name, type, genre, location, biography, rights confirmation, and artwork. Your artist workspace remains separate from your member profile.
Upload music and organize releases
Create a single or album, upload common industry audio formats including MP3 and WAV, add titles and release information, and preview the public Page before publishing. Only upload music and artwork you have the right to share.
Connect with fans and collaborators
Followers receive public artist updates. Circle supports accepted two-way relationships. Inner Circle is the artist's featured four collaborators. Backstage Pass is the separate fan membership for private posts, prerelease listening, and closer access.
Use artist insights and private releases
Insights summarize plays, listeners, follows, and content response. Backstage Pass posts and private listening parties let you share selected work with an invited audience before a public release.
FRIENDSPACE LIVE
Content creators
Create and edit your Creator Page
Choose your Page name, unique handle, creator roles, biography, and visual identity. After setup, use Identity & Page in Creator Hub to edit the saved Page rather than creating another one.
Publish shows, episodes, videos, and clips
Use Creator Hub to group episodes into shows, upload longer videos, publish short clips, save drafts, and preview how each item will appear publicly.
Use Friendspace Live
Schedule or start an event from Live Events. Confirm the title and audience, test audio and video, and use the live conversation tools to stay connected with viewers.
Understand audience and analytics
Audience shows followers and returning participation. Analytics summarizes performance while excluding owner views, deduplicating repeats, and hiding small location groups to protect privacy.
SHARED SPACES
Communities
Find, join, and participate
Browse Communities, open a space that matches your interests, review its guidelines, and join. Community posts, events, media, goals, and conversations stay connected to that shared purpose.
Create and manage a Community
Choose a clear name, mission, location or topic, privacy level, and guidelines. Owners and moderators can review membership, invitations, events, media, goals, reports, and moderation actions.
YOUR CHOICES
Privacy, safety, and account controls
Control who can find and contact you
Settings includes profile and search visibility, Circle Requests, messaging permissions, online status, Circle displays, anthem behavior, notifications, blocks, and mutes. Pages have controls appropriate to their identity type.
Control The Main Space
Topics and Feed Choices let you hide broad source categories without disconnecting from people. Muting hides a specific account from your experience; blocking also prevents direct interaction.
Report harmful content or behavior
Use Report on content, Instant conversations, or profiles for safety concerns. For a technical problem with Friendspace itself, use the technical support form below.
Protect your account
Use a unique password, verify your email, review security activity, and sign out of devices you do not recognize. Friendspace staff will never ask for your personal account password.
